The Second Africa-EU Civil Society Forum was held in Brussels on October 23-25, 2013, attended by representatives of African and European Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma paid her first official courtesy visit to the offices of the NEPAD Agency on Monday, September 30, 2013.
At Dr. Zuma’s first meeting with the CEO of the NEPAD Agency, Dr. Ibrahim A. Mayaki she highlighted various aspects of some of NEPAD’s premier programmes including CAADP and PIDA and emphasized the importance of the NEPAD Agency’s role as the technical body of the African Union and its role in the formulation of the AU’s Agenda 2063.
